Apple will be releasing a new OS for the Macintosh later this year. But you have a chance to test it out now. The September 3, 2014 meeting of the Chicago Apple User Group will give you a unique opportunity to see how you can test the next version of the Mac OS before the full version is presented to the public. The meeting will be presented by one of the best authorities in the field, Joe Kissell. He will be us live via video.

Joe will talk about the process of beta testing OS X 10.10 Yosemite, including preparation steps, installation, bug reporting, and upgrading or downgrading once beta testing is over. This is based on the book Take Control of Beta Testing Yosemite. It was written by Joe Kissell, edited by Jeff Carlson, and published by TidBITS Publishing Inc.
