Using iOS for everything - Learn about going complete Mac-less on Wednesday May 6, 2015
Meeting is open to everyone, no cover charge
The Chicago Apple User Group is holding a very special meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. George Brooks and Russ Conte will show examples of how you can use iOS exclusively for all your computing needs. iOS has made many advances, and now offers Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), iWork (Pages, Numbers and Keynote), iOS versions of image editing (even a version from Adobe of Photoshop), drawing (including a version of Adobe Illustrator), web design, scanning and managing documents, calendar management, Evernote, Workflow management, and much, much more. We’ll only have time to show a few of the many ways you can use your iPhone or iPad as your only system. Your office or studio can be wherever you want it to be. Many people are using iOS for everything, and you’ll be able to see what it’s like at our May, 2015 meeting.
Note - our original May 2015 meeting topic about Apple Watch has been rescheduled to July 1, 2015, due to the delay from Apple shipping the Apple watch.
